This upgraded design uses racing materials, with a lightweight titanium link pipe and muffler and a carbon fiber end cap. When the machine is idling, a racing sound is heard.
The Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Carbon) exhaust upgrade is achievable through a combination of two choices of optional exhaust manifolds – titanium and stainless steel – which are available with an optional sound insert.
Installing the available optional tubes will invalidate the EC/ECE type-approval certificate.
