The slip-on is available with two different connecting tubes for both high and low mounting of the system. You can choose from:
Low mounting position: L-B12SO8T (for model years 2017-2020) and L-B12SO10 (for model year 2021)
Installation instructions for BMW R NineT models equipped with a standard high-mounted dual-flow rear damper:
The low-mounted slip-on with connecting pipe can only be installed when the passenger frame is removed. An additional aluminum muffler holder from the BMW accessories range (BMW article code 77 11 8 564 071) must be fitted and covers for the threaded mountings of the main frame (BMW article code 77 25 8 536 857) are also recommended to hide the unattractive screw connections on the main frame.
High mounting position: L-B12SO9T (for model years 2017-2020) and L-B12SO11 (for model year 2021)
When installing the L-B12SO9T or L-B12SO11 connecting pipe, the passenger footpegs must be removed.
